This week, our talented Art Scholars embarked on an exciting project to create commissioned artworks for local care homes, with the care home residents actively involved in the process.
On Thursday, Year 3, 4, and 5 Art Scholars visited Ridgegate Care Home where they used their photography skills to capture stunning images of the buildings beautiful interior and unique features, identifying ideal spaces for their artwork. On Friday, Year 6 Art Scholars explored Beaumont Care Home, using photography to document the traditional architecture and breath-taking gardens for inspiration.
They will now create mood boards using their photos to develop ideas for their pieces. They will then return to the care homes to present these ideas and gather feedback from residents to shape their final creations.
We look forward to sharing updates as this exciting collaboration unfolds!
