In Upper School - Year 3 to Year 6 - our team of experienced teachers create an engaging and nurturing learning environment.
Our curriculum is designed to provide a well-rounded education, encompassing a wide range of subjects. Alongside the core subjects of English, Mathematics, and Science, the children are taught History, Geography, Art, French, Design and Technology, Religious Education, Personal Social and Health Education (PSHE), Computing, Drama, Music, Physical Education, and Games. Our many Peripatetic Teachers also teach a variety of music and speech and language lessons during the school day.
With smaller class sizes, we ensure that each child receives the individual support and guidance they need to thrive. We believe in stretching young minds, creating an environment where effort, good manners, consideration for others, and success are not only valued but also celebrated. For students who require extra support, our Skills Unit provides tailored assistance, either individually or in small groups.
The private primary school in Reigate is a vibrant hub of creativity and self-expression. Throughout the year, our children have countless opportunities to showcase their talents, whether it is through concerts, assemblies, or our highly anticipated annual shows.
We encourage the children to explore their passions beyond the classroom, offering an exciting array of extracurricular clubs and activities.
These additional opportunities not only stimulate their learning but also enhance their overall educational experience. For those who wish to focus on their studies after school, a supervised homework club is provided until 4.30pm each day.
Learning extends beyond the private primary school in Reigate with enriching trips to museums, galleries, theatres, and even overseas with the Year 6 residential trip to France. We believe in bringing the world to our students, inviting guest speakers, specialists, and visiting drama groups to share their knowledge and expertise with our school community. One of the highlights of the year is the annual Theme Week with a jam-packed week of off-curriculum themed activities!
We understand the importance of collaboration between school and parents, especially when it comes to choosing the best senior school for your child's future. That is why we actively work alongside our parents, offering individual parent meetings with Mr Ardé (Headmaster) and myself during Year 5. Additionally, our specialist teachers provide valuable advice for those seeking scholarships, ensuring your child has the support they need to pursue their aspirations.
When children leave our private primary school in Reigate, they do so with confidence, ambition, and resilience. They are aware of their own potential and their ability to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
