At Micklefield, we make the move from Nursery to Reception as smooth as possible for every child.

Because our Nursery children are already familiar with the School environment and staff, they settle quickly and confidently.

How we Support Transition

Throughout the year, we provide opportunities for children to become familiar with the Reception settling and staff, and for parents to feel informed and involved.

This includes visits, events and meetings designed to make the transition as seamless as possible.
