It was wonderful to hold our first 'House Assemblies' of the Spring term. They focused on our value of 'Resilience'. Each house assembly began with the newly appointed House Captains and Vice Captains presenting to their houses.
Next, each house took part in exciting group activities.
Somers were challenged to build the largest tower from paper cups. Mr Bracken tested their resilience by accidentally slipping over and demolishing their towers, prompting them to rebuild and test their teams' resilience.
Waterlow were tasked with building the tallest tower using items from their pencil cases.
While Cranston and Fonteyn both enjoyed constructing acrostic sentences and poems in their teams.
It was lovely to see all the children working together and bonding across the different year groups.
