Year 5 Visit Hampton Court Palace

On 7th November, Year 5 visited Hampton Court to experience what life was like in the Tudor times and to walk in King Henry VIII’s footsteps. A fabulous day was had by all. The children toured the impressive palace and were in awe of the beautiful gardens and rooms. They visited the largest grape vine in the world and also took part in a workshop where they learnt more about Henry himself. Lots of the children came home really enthused, having thoroughly enjoyed their visit. All of the children were also great ambassadors for Micklefield. Well done Year 5.
