House Assemblies

We started the day today with our first House Meetings of the academic year.  Our Houses help build Micklefield's family atmosphere and create a sense of belonging and collaboration, by bringing children across the different year groups together on a regular basis.  Siblings stay together in the same House so that they can support and cheer each other on during their time at Micklefield.

This morning, our newly appointed Year 6 House Captains and Vice Captains each delivered motivating speeches, introducing themselves to their Houses, encouraging everyone to support their House and reminding children to put up their house points!  Year 5 and 6 Children were then buddied up with younger children in their Houses to offer extra support.
