Micklefield School Awarded Eco Schools Green Flag Award with Distinction

We are delighted to announce that Micklefield School has been awarded The Eco-Schools Green Flag Award with Distinction.

The award is a sign that our staff, pupils and site are making great efforts to support the health of our planet. Micklefield School has demonstrated a whole school approach to the Eco-Schools programme, and has shown a huge commitment to engaging young people in environmental education and action.

Eco-Schools loved the level of team work that our whole school demonstrated and acknowledged that this cooperative mindset is exactly what is needed to address the challenges posed by climate change. Eco-Schools were also impressed with how Micklefield was focused on expanding their work to the wider community.
