Music Showcase Assembly

Congratulations to all the talented children who performed in our Music Assembly on Wednesday. From our brilliant Orchestra and String Ensemble as well as fifteen solo performances across a range of instruments (piano, violin and flute), the event was a true showcase of Micklefield's musical talent.
The whole school was treated to a range of music, spanning from the lively sounds of Mamma Mia to the timeless elegance of Bach, the majestic Jupiter, a charming Waltz Through Paris and even the magical Hedwig’s Theme from Harry Potter! The standard was truly impressive and every performer should be very proud of their achievement. Thank you to Mrs Swan and our peripatetic teachers: Mrs Lloyd-Wilson, Mrs Purves and Miss Taft for teaching and preparing the children for their performances.
