A group of Year 5 girls had the incredible opportunity to attend the highly anticipated football festival hosted by Box Hill School. The event was a celebration of football, teamwork and inspiration, leaving our girls with memories that will last a lifetime.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly meeting professional footballer Greta Humphries. Her presence on the pitch was nothing short of inspiring as she took the time to share her journey, offer valuable advice and encourage the young footballers to pursue their dreams. Greta's enthusiasm and approachable nature made her a true role model for the girls, filling them with motivation to improve their skills and dedication to the sport.
Throughout the day, the Year 5 girls eagerly participated in various football activities, showcasing their teamwork, determination and love for the game. From friendly matches to skill-building drills, the event provided a fantastic platform for the girls to refine their abilities and bond with their teammates.
The festival's atmosphere was electric, with cheers and laughter echoing across the field. It was not just a celebration of football but also a testament to the power of sports in fostering friendships, confidence and resilience.
A big thank you to Box Hill School for organising such a well-structured and enjoyable event. The experience has undoubtedly left a positive impact and we look forward to future opportunities to participate in similar events.
Well done to all the Year 5 girls for their incredible energy and sportsmanship throughout the day. Here's to many more football victories and inspiring moments ahead!
