Year 1 Enjoy Fairy Tale Day

What a wonderful day Year 1 had on FairyTale Day! There were so many great Fairy Tale characters. The day got off to a busy and exciting start with crown making, decorating gingerbread men, making bookmarks and writing an invitation to a Ball.
During the afternoon, the fun continued. It began with a Kahoot quiz where the children showed off their knowledge of Fairy Tales; they were very good! To round off the day, there was a Ball in the gym. The children learned some country dancing which was certainly exhausting. I am not sure who was more tired at the end of the day: the teachers or the pupils.
It was a fantastic day and the children joined in with great enthusiasm. Thank you to all the parents who helped by providing costumes and materials for the crown making. A big thank you also, to the catering team for making the gingerbread men.
