Freshwater Theatre Visit to Reception

Reception had an exciting visit from the Freshwater Theatre Company. Based on the story 'Lost and Found' by Oliver Jeffers, the interactive workshop took the children on an imaginary journey to the Polar regions. They used their senses to discover clues from a variety of locations including an iceberg, a frozen lake and a cave!
Using songs and rhymes, the children deepened their knowledge and understanding of the Polar Regions with a particular focus on icebergs, polar bears, penguins and Inuit communities. The special teacher Tania, from the Freshwater Theatre Company, was particularly impressed with all the facts the children already knew on the subject.
