Spring Creativity at Beaumont Care Home

A group of Year 5 children who attend the Monday Art Lunch Club enjoyed a wonderful visit to Beaumont Care Home this week. The children confidently led a spring themed art activity, using cotton‑bud brushes to help residents create beautiful seasonal cards.

These cards were made especially for the residents to give to their friends and family, adding an extra level of thoughtfulness to the afternoon. Many residents joined in with the making, while others enjoyed watching the pupils’ creativity unfold. The students also loved having conversations with the residents, listening to their stories and sharing their own - making the visit even more meaningful.

It was a heart-warming afternoon of creativity, connection and community.  We are incredibly proud of our pupils for representing the school so brilliantly.
