Make A Wish Assembly

Make A Wish Assembly

Yesterday, we started our week with a truly special whole school assembly focused on a charity very close to our hearts - Make A Wish Foundation

At Micklefield, we are keen to support charities and help make a difference to children who are in need. The assembly was a powerful reminder of why this matters.

Mrs Parsons kindly brought her son Lewis into school to speak to the children. Lewis has been incredibly brave, spending much of the past year in and out of hospital care. He shared how charities can bring joy, support and hope to children and families undergoing medical treatment. He proudly showed some of the thoughtful gifts and experiences he has received, along with his amazing ‘Beads of Courage’ - each bead representing a moment of courage throughout his illness. His strength and positivity inspired the whole school. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us Lewis!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Make A Wish Festive Dash before Christmas.  Our School Council were excited to announce our next Make A Wish fundraiser:

- Next Friday 27th March

- Pyjama Day! - children can come to school in their PJs for a £1 cash donation.

Let’s keep spreading kindness and making wishes come true!
