Year3 Roman Day

Roman Day was a huge success for Year 3!
The children looked brilliant in their costumes and threw themselves into every activity. They crafted helmets, shields, clay coins and mosaics, cracked a tricky Roman‑numeral code and brought the legend of Romulus and Remus to life through drama.
One of the highlights was trying out real Roman army formations, including the Tortoise (Testudo) and the Wedge.
It was a day full of creativity, teamwork and unforgettable learning.
