RGS + RGSSH GCSE Results

Last week brought another round of exciting news from across the Reigate Grammar School family. Following on from the recent A Level successes, GCSE Results Day on Thursday 20th August, saw more outstanding achievements by students at both Reigate Grammar School and RGS Surrey Hills.
At Reigate Grammar School, the Class of 2026 achieved the strongest GCSE results in the school’s history. Nearly half of all grades awarded were Grade 9, almost three quarters were at Grades 9–8 and 90% at Grades 9–7, with exceptional results spanning mathematics and science, languages, humanities and the creative arts.
At RGS Surrey Hills, the results tell a compelling story of progress, with three quarters of pupils exceeding their baseline predictions and some achieving, on average, two grades higher than expected. Overall, 80% of GCSE grades were awarded at Grades 9–5, while creative subjects achieved 100% Grades 9–4 and mathematics recorded its strongest results for the third consecutive year.
Behind these results lies a great deal of hard work and commitment from the students, together with the support of their teachers and families. It is a pleasure to share their achievements with you and to congratulate them on all that they have accomplished.
