Year 2 Journey Sticks Adventure

On Tuesday, Year 2 children visited the field, collecting flowers, leaves, stones and other natural resources as they travelled. They tucked their finds under elastic bands on 'journey sticks' to create a tactile record of the route taken and then discussed the places visited on their return to the classroom.
It was great fun and they can't wait to plot their journey on maps next!
