This week, the glorious weather has provided the perfect start to our Micklefield Cricket Season! All year groups have been focusing on Cricket in their Games lessons and excitement is building as we look ahead to the fixtures scheduled across the term.
On Wednesday, our U11A team faced Parkside School in the first round of the Surrey Cup and delivered an outstanding performance. The whole team bowled brilliantly to keep the Parkside score down, and our first three batters sealed the victory with a superb display, securing a 9‑wicket win.
A huge well done to the team - we can’t wait for the next round!
Next week we look forward to Cricket fixtures against Hazelwood, Aberdour and Reigate St Marys.
